Post 303 put up nine runs in the second inning of the first game of a doubleheader to roll to a 15-4 win before losing 6-5 in the nightcap to settle for a split here Tuesday.
Earlier this season, the Dodgers (24-11) used a pair of similar outbursts to sweep a doubleheader at Post 303's home field.
In Tuesday's opener, it did not take too long for Post 303 to take command. After Aaron McCaig led off the top of the second inning by lining out to left, the next 12 batters all reached safely.
Garrett Stockton and Heath Horvath each drew bases-loaded walks to force home Austin Jackson and Shane Branum to make it 2-0, then Dustin Hunter singled in Kaleb Canoy to make it 3-0.
Pitcher Dylan Stockton then helped his cause in a big way, as his hit cleared the bases to score Garrett Stockton, Horvath and Hunter to make it 6-0. Aaron Booker then singled in Dylan Stockton.
Later in the inning, Jackson singled in Booker before Branum capped the rally by driving in McCaig.
Dunklin County's offense did not go cold, scoring in the next three innings. McCaig and Booker drove in runs in the third inning, while McCaig had a two-run single in the top of the fourth.
Six Dodgers -- Hunter, Horvath, Dylan Stockton, Booker, McCaig and Jackson -- had two hits apiece as Post 303 had 14 hits on the game.
Dylan Stockton pitched all five innings for the win, allowing six hits and striking out one while walking two and allowing three earned runs.
In the nightcap, the Casons rallied late to pull out the win and salvage the split in a five-inning contest.

Post 303 heads to Chaffee this evening hoping to keep its record perfect in District XIV competition as it takes on Scott County at 5 p.m.
Notes: The Casons are coached by a pair of Bootheel natives -- manager David Mathis coaches at Cooter High School while Josh Braswell is from Kennett. ... In games involving other District XIV teams, Jackson Post 158 defeated Cape Girardeau Ford and Sons 11-8 Tuesday evening. Jackson is 2-0 against Ford and Sons in district play.
