Cooper signs with Williams Volleyball

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. -- Beth Cooper of Cooter, Mo., will continue her volleyball career at Williams Baptist College. Cooper recently signed her commitment to play for the Lady Eagles.

The 2008 graduate of Cooter High School was an all-conference and all-district selection the past three seasons, and she served as captain of the CHS team. She was also active in cheerleading, Beta Club, FCCLA, FBLA and choir, and she was the CHS homecoming queen.

Taking part in her signing at Williams were CHS Coach Jennifer Ray and WBC Coach Eric Newell.

Cooper is the daughter of Rhonda Thaxton of Cooter and Michael Cooper of Lake Zurich, Ill.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Lady Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
