KST takes second in the Jackson Championship Swim Meet

JACKSON, Mo. -- The Kennett Swim Team swam their way to second place at the Jackson Championship Meet on Saturday, July 26, 2008.

KST managed to rack up a total of 1,012 points. They came in just 130 points behind the Gator Swim Team, but blew the third place Jackson Swim Team out of the water with a 659-point difference.

KST's Isabelle Raspberry won first place in the Girls 8-and-under 25-meter freestyle, 50-meter freestyle, and 100-meter IM.

Kayton Harris, Hailee Potts, Anna Beth Williams, and Isabelle Raspberry won first in the Girls 8-and-under 100-meter freestyle relay and 100-meter medley relay.

McMullan won first in the 11--12-year-old 50-meter backstroke and 50 meter butterfly.

In the Girls 15--18-year-old 200-meter relay, Alexandra Brown, Susan Shetley, Anna Stillman, and Hanna Lack won first.

Heath McHaney won first place in the Boys 9--10-year-old 50-meter butterfly.

Heath McHaney, Zane Wallace, Blake Padrones, and Britt Harris won first in the Boys 9--10-year-old 100-meter medley relay.

Bron McPherson won first in the Boys 11--12 100-meter freestyle, 50-meter butterfly, and 100-meter IM.

Brandon Meek won first in the Boys 11¬--12-year-old 50-meter breaststroke.

BJ Carr, Brandon Meek, Tom Edgington, and Bron McPherson won first in the Boys 11--12-year-old 200-meter freestyle relay and 200-meter medley relay.

Jay Edgington won first in the Boys 13--14-year-old 100-meter backstroke.

Jay Edgington, Declan Wallace, Bryce McPherson, and Daniel Lockhert won first in the Boys 13--14-year old 200-meter medley relay.

Ryan Richardson won first in the Boys 15--18-year-old 100-meter freestyle.

Individual High Point winners saw KST's Isabelle Raspberry, age 8, win first place in the 8-and-under women's category, scoring 27 points.

KST's Abigail McMullan, age 11, took first in the 11--12-year-old women's category, scoring 25 points.

In the 11--12-year-old men's category, KST's Bron McPherson, age 12, took first place, scoring 27 points.
