The good times continue for the Kennett Indians soccer team.

After winning its season opener to snap an almost three-year winless streak, the Tribe got a goal from Blake Wilbanks in the 72nd minute Tuesday to take a 1-0 victory over Fredericktown at Indian Park.

Kennett (2-1-1) is halfway to the school record for wins in a season for a soccer team.

"It's pretty unusual," Kennett assistant coach Tom Hooper said. "I really definitely feel that you can give credit to the boys. We've been working (quite) hard over the last three weeks. I really feel like they're starting to get some of the fundamentals we've started to teach them (especially on defense).
