Malden Historical Museum Website
Last year I designed and published a new website for the Malden Historical Museum. I invite you to go to our new website at http://www.maldenmuseum.com You will find plenty of new and engaging pages that illustrate the many wonderful historical finds from the history of Malden from 1878 to the present.
Today, we are excited about Compton & Newberry performing a concert that will benefit the museum on February 15th, President's Day. This is a ticket only concert and to read about the concert and how to purchase tickets, please visit our site at http://www.maldenmuseum.com This is going to be a "returning home" musician for Mr. Joe Newberry who grew up and lived in Malden. Malden is a Green Wave graduate and is very excited about performing in Malden at the Bootheel Youth Museum. This concert will benefit our biggest and most ambition project of publishing Malden newspapers from 1901 to 1994 and have a searchable database for patrons of the museum to search and explore the history of Malden in legal newspapers. This is our Allen Black Newspaper Archives project and we are very excited about sharing history of Malden and their families through historical newspapers donated by Mr. Allen Black, publisher and editor of the Malden Press-Merit. We will keep you informed of our campaign to complete all years of Malden's history through print.
