Cali Living by CBHine -- Are we really so busy?
The following article ran in a local newspaper in Southern California today. After reading it, it occurred to me that this is typical Southern California and really most of America today......are we all (really) so busy?
Flu shots offered to folks in their cars at Moorpark College
(Moorpark, CA) The first ever "Drive-Thru Flu Clinic" with free flu vaccinations takes place this Friday at Moorpark College courtesy of the Ventura County Public Health Department. The event starts at 8 a.m. Drivers are directed to enter the college campus via Collins Road, take the first left past Campus Park Drive, and follow the signs. It's even easier after that. Just stay in your car and roll up your sleeve. The free flu shots are offered to adults 18-years-old and over. The purpose of the drive-thru approach is to give public health officials a glimpse at how well state and local agencies work together in the event of a pandemic or other public health emergency.
