Children's New Year's Resolutions

Staff photos by Deanna Coronado Classrooms at South Elementary School in Kennett hosted a student craft activity, displayed above, that allowed each child to create an self-illustration including their personal New Year's Resolution for 2012. Some students said things like they wanted to do better in school or at home, others listed personal achievement goals pertaining to sports activities or hobbies. Each child's celebration creation was unique in its own right and was hung outside their respective classroom for others to view and enjoy.

South Elementary student, Kaytie Bradley, wrote for her "New Year's Resolution" that she wanted to get her "back-tuck" gymnastics move down, because she wants to move up with the other girls in 2012.
