Community supports KPD officer following son's death

Hundreds from throughout the region turned out Thursday to pay their respects to a young Kennett man who was killed in a shooting Saturday night. Several KPD officers attended the funeral of Andy Tijerina, who was the step-son of KPD Lt. Rick Groves. "I deal with people mostly at the bad times in their lives,"Groves said.
