The work of award-winning photographer Ashli Brooke Wallace is now on display at the Dunklin County Library in Kennett. Wallace chose 20 of her favorite photographs that she took and developed from some of the places throughout the world that she has visited.
After graduating from Malden High School in 2009, Wallace became an editorial photographer with a degree in photography from Webster University in St. Louis.
At 24 years old, she has visited 25 countries and has volunteered at the Sotowa Wilson School in Arusha, Tanzania. Travel photography is a major part of her work.
She will attend the graduate program at the School of Visual Arts in New York this fall.
The exhibit precedes her book signing set for Saturday, Aug. 22 from 9-11:30 a.m. Books will be sold at the signing, but for those unable to attend, they can purchase the book or individual photographs by visiting Wallace's website at www.ashlibrookephotography.com.
