Edward S. Siebenhuener, 48 of Kennett, was arrested and charged with speeding and D.W.I. Bond was set at $568.50 and he bonded out on 50-percent cash at 6:40 a.m..

According to the arrest report, at approximately 1:23 a.m., Sergeant Charles Sanders with the Dexter Police Department was traveling west on Bus. Hwy. 60 when he noticed a vehicle traveling east at 50 m.p.h, in a 35 m.p.h. zone.

Sanders pulled the car over near Bus. 60 and Harris Dr.

The officer said he could smell alcohol on his breath and that his eyes were watery and bloodshot. When asked whether he had been drinking, he responded that he had two drinks.
