Masterson 2nd grade students receive commendation

Second grade students at Masterson Elementary, who met all requirements for AR (Accelerated Reader) Book Club, met with one of Mrs. Paige Presley’s English classes one time per month during second semester of the 2017-2018 school year.

Each month, the students had a book assignment and had to be prepared to discuss and complete an activity with Kennett High School students. They concluded with a field trip to the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum in Piggott, Ark., and a picnic in the park.

Students are given specific guidelines and requirements for each year during parent/teacher conferences in October.
