A Holcomb man was sentenced Wednesday on one count of involuntary manslaughter and one count of possession of a controlled substance in the 2012 death of Autumn Medley. Glenn David Morgan was sentenced by Circuit Judge Robert Mayer to seven years for manslaughter and five years for possession in the Department of Corrections. The sentences run consecutively. Morgan pleaded guilty to those charges last month.

Charges were filed against Morgan after Medley's body was found on a county road near Gibson in September 2012. Morgan was accused of injecting Medley with a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl, causing her death.
