Sides named as Modern Woodmen of America"s 2017 Hometown Hero

Modern Woodmen of America’s 2017 Home Town Hero for the Bernie Chapter is Bob Sides. Mr. Sides was born in Risco, Missouri. He grew up in Hayti, but moved to Bernie in 1941 where he has resided in the same home for 71 years. He is a retired farmer, he helps deliver Meals on Wheels, He is a member of the Methodist church where he has held every office of the church, and he’s been a member of the sheltered workshop for many years.
