Ann Ritchey Bostic, 78, of Malden died Saturday, December 31, 2011, at her residence in Malden. She was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Malden Historical Museum, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, she served on the Dunklin County Library Board and was a nursing home volunteer. She attended Gulf Park College and the University of Mississippi where she was a Kappa Delta Sorority Pledge. She was affiliated with the United Methodist Church in Malden.
Born in Newbern, Tenn., on September 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Guy Douglas Haskins and Verda Ritchey Haskins. On April 5, 1952, in Malden, she was united in marriage to John Mart Bostic, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one son, John Mart Bostic II and wife, Mary Beth, of Bartlesville, Okla.; one daughter, Sue Ritchey Bostic of Malden, two grandchildren, Brian M. Bostic and Madeline A. Bostic of Bartlesville and two sisters, Patricia K. Hunter of Franklin, Tenn., and Elizabeth Riley Haskins of Malden.
Visitation was held Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services followed immediately in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Hoyt officiating. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
