Franklin Brown

Franklin D. Brown, son of the late Felix Sylvester Brown and Vernon Enochs Brown was born March 5, 1933, in Keiser, Ark., and departed this life Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 5 days.

On Dec. 27, 1980, he married Jeannie Gaskins.

He was a United States veteran. Serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Brown, of Kennett; three sons, Keith Brown and wife Maribel, of Alexandria, Va., David Brown and wife, Vickie, of Piggott, Ark., and Tim Brown and wife, Yvonne, of New Orleans, La.; one brother, Charles Brown, of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Agnes Hesselbein, of Malden, Mo., and Eva Johnson, of Malden; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death in by one son, Stephen Brown; three sisters, Louise Payne, Anna Lee Nuckles and Patsy Console.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, Friday, April 13, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, April 13, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Summers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.

Pallbearers will be Keith Brown, David Brown, Tim Brown, Scott Cole, Jack Harris and Todd Mayberry.
