Carolyn Hoskins-Pelts of Kennett joined more than 45,000 Mary Kay independent business owners at the company's annual seminar in Dallas, Texas July 21-Aug. 6.

The annual seminar is a business conference held each year to educate, motivate and recognize the accomplishments of the rapidly growning Mary Kay independent sales force, which includes 1.5 million independent beauty consultants in more than 30 global markets.

This year's theme "The World is Yours," was developed to encourage the independent sales force to embrace the concept of taking advantage of the Mary Kay business opportunity to meet goals, achieve dreams and celebrate accomplishments.

Pelts began her Mary Kay business in 1995 and currently is an independent senior sales director. She qualified for priority in the awards arena. While at the seminar she was recognized for being a Consistency Challenger Achiever in the Star Celebration. She was recognized for being on the National Court of Recruiting and awarded a Diamond and Gold Bumblebee pin. She also qualified to attend the Royalty Reception as a result of being on the national court. This was her seventh time in the National Court of Recruiting. She was also recognized as number one in recruiting for her area. Pelts also received recognition for earning the use of a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix.
