Margaret Hackworth-Springer, 86, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, Ark.
Born April 1, 1919 at Fort Smith, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Noel and Nona Blanch Basham Thrift.
On March 18, 1938, she married Coy Hackworth who preceded her in death Dec. 10, 1964. On November 27, 1984, at Paragould, she married Wayne Springer, who survives.
Other survivors include three daughter, Vicky Rowe and husband, Ronnie, of Paragould, Joyce Mitchell and husband, Ron, of Tampa, Fla. and Wanda Tripp of South Haven, Mich.; one sister, Donnie Edwards of Alabama; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Vonda Pflaumer; four brothers, James Thrift, Joe Thrift, Leonard Thrift and Rufus Thrift; and one sister, Evelyn Zantello.
Visitation is 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 9, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Hornersville.
Services are 2 p.m. today at McDaniel Chapel with the Rev. Jack Hatley officiating.
Burial will be in Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.
Pallbearers are Ronnie, Brandon, Skyler Rowe, Ron Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, Sean Davis, Mark Coates and Harold Yeargain.
