ARBYRD, Mo.- A two vehicle car accident early Tuesday afternoon resulted in possible head injuries to a three-year old male child, resulting in the child being airlifted to LeBonheur's Childrens Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
According to law enforcement officials, the accident occurred in Arbyrd when Heather Plemmons, 27, along with her two children, a three-year old male and a 16-month-old daughter attempted to make a turn into a drive-way in their 2003 Ford Explorer.
According to reports, Megan Zolman, 21, the driver of a 2007 GMC Crew Cab, did not see a turn signal and rear ended Plemmons' vehicle.
Officials say that the two women and the 16-month-old child appeared to have suffered no injuries.
According to law enforcement officials, the injured child was not in a child safety seat at the time of the accident but was wearing a seatbelt.
