Mildred Vivlee Scroggins, 92, of Malden died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her son's residence in Flint, Mich. She worked at McDonald Douglas in St. Louis during the War and she worked retail for J.C. Penney. She was a member of Tatum Chapel. Born March 4, 1921, in Ada, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Nancy (Moody) Young. Mildred Vivlee Scroggins, 92, of Malden died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her son's residence in Flint, Mich. She worked at McDonald Douglas in St. Louis during the War and she worked retail for J.C. Penney. She was a member of Tatum Chapel.

Born March 4, 1921, in Ada, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Nancy (Moody) Young. On February 22, 1941, she was united in marriage to Harold Scroggins, who preceded her in death on March 15, 2003.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Junior Young, one sister, Dovelou Freeman and one great-grandchild, Sarah Muzino.

Surviving are one son, David Scroggins and wife, Jean, of Flint, Mich.; three daughters, Darlene Woods of North Richland Hills, Texas, Carylon Mortenson and husband, Dale, of Venice, Fla., and Kay Goodman and husband, David, of Venice, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Thursday, March 21, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 22, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Scott Crane officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
