According to Captain Paul Spain of the Kennett Fire Department, an emergency 911 call came in at approximately 11:54 a.m., Thursday, of an industrial fire in a field located near Bragg City on A Highway.

Spain reported a newer model Case International tractor had caught fire from the underside.

Jerry P. Combs of Kennett was reportedly driving the tractor at the time of the incident.

Fire personnel arrived on scene at approximately 12:05 p.m. and immediately began fighting the fire.

KFD battled the blaze for more than an hour before successfully extinguishing the flames.

The tractor was a complete loss, but no injuries were reported.
