Fire destroys garage on Division Street

A fire gutted a garage on Division Street in Kennett Friday night. No one was hurt.

According to Lt. Robert Moore of the Kennett Fire Department, crews were called to the scene at around 7:45 p.m. The garage was not attached to a home on the property, and the home was not damaged. A neighbor helped fight flames before crews arrived and gained control of the fire.

Crews remained on scene Friday night for salvaging. An exact cause of the fire has not yet been released.
