Missouri farmers market program returns in 2025: What you need to know

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The 2025 Missouri Senior & WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program is May 1 - Oct. 31, according to Missouri Department of Agriculture information.

Farmers who would like to participate in the program for the first time must complete a training video that details the rules of the program.

Farmers who were authorized in 2024 can renew their participation with the MDA Ag Business Development team.

Senior Farmers Market Program: 3,620 participants, $116,484 redeemed

WIC Farmers Market Program: 11,728 participants, $47,635 redeemed

Farmer statistics: 216 farmers redeemed benefits; $760 average farmer income
