Five Missouri counties receive a $2.3 million grant to upgrade 911 services, including text capabilities and NG911 equipment, ensuring a unified network and enhanced emergency response.

The Missouri 911 Service Board awarded Dunklin, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott, and Stoddard Counties E-911 services a $2.3 million dollar grant.

This grant project is a regional effort to incorporate texts to 911 and provides for purchases & improvements to NG911 compatible equipment that meets the NENA 13 Solution Standards for ESIP Networks protocol.

All agencies serve residents at a Phase I| level, and this project serves to consolidate all counties onto the same network.
