The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MoDNR) invites the public to a reception at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 20, at the Missouri State Museum in the Capitol building.
The reception features the winning photographs from the 2024 MoDNR Photo Contest.
The photographs are on display in the Resources Hall section of the museum from March 18 through Aug. 1.
The annual contest invites amateur photographers of all ages to participate.
The exhibit includes the winning photographs from the following three categories:
Natural Resources – featuring photographs of Missouri’s air, landscapes and waterways.
Unique Places – featuring photographs taken within one of Missouri’s state parks and historic sites.
People Enjoying Missouri’s Outdoors – featuring photographs of people spending time enjoying and exploring Missouri’s great outdoors.
The reception offers an opportunity for the public to view the photographs and learn how they can participate in the 2025 photo contest, which opens on April 1.
The Missouri State Museum is located on the first floor of the Capitol, 201 W. Capital Ave., Jefferson City.
