Kennett car dealership partners with KHD to support shelter dogs this holiday season

What do new cars and pound puppies have in common?

They both are looking for owners.

KHD Officer Tena Petix informed, “Recently, I was contacted by an employee of Dodge Bayird in Kennett regarding the dealership hosting a fundraiser for KHD.”

Petix continued, “We are always excited to add people and businesses to our team effort to find families for the dogs at KHD.”

“Bayird decided to host a Christmas tree that would feature each KHD dog on a picture ornament with their info and what they want for Christmas besides a home,” she added. “They are hoping people will come in and choose a dog to help.”

Petix informed not everyone can adopt a dog but they can choose a gift that will make a difference in the dog's life.
