It is cold, and it gets dark by 6 pm. Once I am home, I really would rather not go out again. After lighting one of my favorite scented candles, I grab my thick nubby blanket and curl up in my oversized chair. My pup noses herself under the blankie beside me, and I crack open my current read. Lately, my books have been historical fiction about World War II in Great Britain, and I have learned so much as I research details. The month of February still has cold nights so find a book that fascinates you.

One Last Rainy Day by Kate Stewart is a modern day retelling of Robin Hood. Dominic King does not want or need anything except his freedom. He locked in a cage by his brother, Tobias. With Tobias away for the summer, things start to quickly heat up until she is not just a want, she is a need. With the Ravenhood’s fate on his shoulders, Cecelia becomes Dom’s only solace, and a light for his tortured soul. Because he knows, better than anyone, that a choice is coming. Once the decision is made, there will be no coming back.
