Mark Anthony Goddard, son of the late Elmer Goddard and Beatrice (Brock) Goddard, was born June 23, 1956, in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on January 4, 2025 at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 12 days. Mark married Loretta Callahan on January 5, 2000 in Piggott, Arkansas.
Mark proudly served the Kennett Police Department for over 43 years the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department for 2 years and spent 24 years with the Kennett Fire Department and Emergency Management. Mark was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason of The Valley St. Louis Missouri and Kennett Masonic Lodge #68.

Sister: Carolyn Calvary of Batesville, Ar.
Niece: Camille Ladden of North Carolina
Nephew: Stan Calvary of Batesville, Ar
Grandchildren: Dusti Jones and Jade Jones
Great grandchildren: Tristan Jones, Heather Jones and Kali Cupp
other relatives and many many friends.
Mark was preceded in death by son: Scotty Jones, Granddaughter: Heather Benson
Visitation will be 9:30 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday at the McDaniel Chapel with Mr. Jim Mauldin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Mark Dennis, Lance "Russell" Davis, John "Silly" Beaton, Mike McCammon, Aaron Waynick and Anthony "Dreamweaver" Weaver. Honorary pallbearers: Steve Cook, Percy Jefferson, Johnny Dennis, Steve Williams, Steve Prince, Barry Tate, Bob Holder and Randy Carter.
McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett will be in charge of the arrangements.
