Billie Jean Pelts, daughter of the late Fred Richardson and Shelly (Fletcher) Richardson, was born March 19, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on January 8, 2025, at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 20 days. Billie married Wayne Pelts on September 16, 1967. Wayne preceded her in death.

Nine grandchildren: Matthew (Katie) Golden, Kaley (Baxter) Slatton, Mollie (Jacob) Adlong, Will (Kendall) Martin, Edward (Tina) Gargas, Robert (Toni) Gargas, Lorrie (Mark) Davis, Dennis (Anne) Pelts, Jr., Haley (Everett) Bracey

Billie was preceded in death by her sister: Wilma Wehmeyer

Billie was retired from Emerson Electric where she was employed for many years.

Visitation will be 9:00 am to 10:00 am at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Graveside Services will 10:00 am Monday, January 13, 2025 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Pastor Steven Scherer officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Matthew Golden, Will Martin, Baxter Slatton, Dennis Pelts, Jr., Edward Gargas and Robert Gargas.
