Donna 'Donia' Moody

Donna (Donia) Moody, daughter of the late James Elmer Duncan and Martha (Jeffers) Johnson, was born July 20, 1950 in Parkin, Arkansas and departed this life January 17, 2025 at the age of 74 years. Donna married Jimmie Moody, Sr. June 18, 1966 in Kennett, Missouri.

She is survived by:

Her husband: Jimmie Moody, Sr. of Kennett.

One son: Jimmie (Christy) Moody, Jr. of Kennett.

Two daughters: Teena (James) Populis of Cabot, Arkasas.

Penney (Brian) Woodburn of Kennett.

Six grandchildren: Amber Young of Columbia, South Carolina, Kendra Bradley of Springfield, Missouri, Geoffrey Populis of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Desirae Vironet of Ocala, Florida, Allison Moody of Kennett, Missouri and Jimmie (Trey) Moody III of Kennett.

Three great-grandchildren: Landon Woodburn, Rylan Martin and Asher Young.

Three sisters: Reba Carrano, Mary Gambrell and Nelda Moody.

Other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather: Albert Johnson, daughter: Teresa Moody, brothers: Sammy and Ricky Duncan and sister: Edna Gambrell.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM -1:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2025 with services at 1:00 PM at First Church in Kennett with Pastor Don Sheerin officiating. Burial in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chase Bradley, Jimmie (Trey) Moody III, Wilson McGee, Geoffrey Populis, Kodi Thompson and Doug Washburn.
