Ellen Riley

Ellen Riley, the daughter of the late Elsie Simpson White, was born October 16, 1930, in Longrun, MO.

On November 29, 1947, in Kennett, MO, she was united in marriage to William Gene Riley. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2000.

She attended the First General Baptist Church in Malden, MO.

Mrs. Riley died Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Dexter, MO, at the age of 94 years.

Survivors include1 son, Billy Riley (Diane) of Clarkton, MO; 3 daughters, Carolyn Moore (Scott) of Clarkton, Camie Murphy (Gary) of Dexter and Jackie Johnson of Malden; 2 son-in-law, Bill Gaskins of Portageville, MO and David Coleman of Clarkton; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Glenda Gaskins; 2 grandsons, Ricky Chamberlain and Kline Hays; 1 brother, Olan “Speedy” Adams.

A visitation will be held at 12:30 P.M., February 16, 2025 at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel, with Pastor Steward Allen Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.
