Tragic turn: Early morning medical call uncovers deadly structure fire

An early morning medical call results in a fatality due to a structure fire.

According to a Kennett Fire Department press release, at approximately 2:30 am, KFD responded to a medical call on 1000 block of David Drive.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered flames visible from the rear of the structure. Unfortunately, there was one fatality reported in the fire.

The Kennett Fire Department, along with the Missouri State Fire Marshal's office, are currently conducting an investigation.
