Malden City Councilors are expected to address a number of issues at Monday's meeting.
After dispensing with regular business, the council will consider Ordinance No. 3298, recognizing The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 702, as the exclusive bargaining agent for members employed by the Malden Dept. of Public Safety, according to the agenda.
Councilors also will consider the sale of surplus city property, audio-visual bids, and discuss a humane department fundraiser before hearing Malden City Administrator Ivone Smith's report, council liaison committee reports, and Mayor Denton Kooyman's report.
The Malden City Council meets at 6 p.m. on the third Monday of every month at the city council chambers within Malden City Hall, 607 N. Douglass St., Malden.
Monday's meeting was postponed because of President's Day.
The public is encouraged to attend.
